About the Book
In a small town in northern Bangladesh, fifteen-year-old Nabil wants to become a civil engineer, but his family’s income is uncertain and school feels increasingly difficult to afford. When his father is injured and Nabil must help at the family’s tea stall, his dream begins to slip away. With support from his teacher, his sister, and friends from different backgrounds, Nabil develops a realistic study plan and discovers new ways to serve his community. His journey is not a miracle of overnight success; it is a steady story of setbacks, responsibility, friendship, and the determination to keep moving forward.
