The Young Inventor
A Science Adventure about Curiosity, Teamwork, and Community
About the Book
Fourteen-year-old Sameer lives in a busy neighbourhood in Lahore where summer heat and frequent power cuts make life difficult for families, shopkeepers, and students. He loves taking broken objects apart, though his experiments rarely work the first time. When his school announces a community innovation fair, Sameer sets out to build a low-cost cooling and water-saving system for the school garden. With help from his friend Meera and his neighbour Bilal, he learns that invention is not about being a genius alone—it is about observing carefully, testing safely, listening to others, and improving an idea after failure.
